Easy Vinaigrette Recipe

One of the easiest ways to upgrade your kitchen to support your heart health is to ditch the premade salad dressings and make your own easy vinaigrette. This versatile recipe can be made in under five minutes, can be kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks and goes great with most salads. With olive oil as the base, you are also getting heart-healthy fats with your meal.

  • 1 tbsp Dijon 
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced 
  • 1 tbsp sweetness (see options below)
  • Herbs of choice to taste (see options below)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
